RE: Bleepity Bleep Cats! (vent) Update

We have one cat. He lives out in the wood shed. I feed him every day and give him a pat on the head. That is about as committed to a cat that its going to get.

RE: Power Awning

"I like the higher support bars. I have knocked my head on my A&E a few times."
That's exactly why I have the power type. I either walked into or raised up under the end supports just one time too many. Less shade like mentioned but plenty of free space with no obstructions in the way.

RE: VERY LONG report on my 4th trip: Pacific Northwest

Glad you had some good times to temper the bad ones. I envy you in being able to do all the biking and hiking with no one to distract you. My wife only wants to stop at every WalMart and little shop's on the road, and she is not the hiking or biking type. I guess it's true that opposites attract each other. Good luck on your next adventure.

RE: slide toppers

I had my A&E toppers on my last trailer and the fabric lasted 10 years. I had Carefree of Colorado toppers installed on my new trailer. The thing I like about the Carefree is the housing that the fabric rolls up into when it is closed. It is not exposed to tree limbs or sunlight, and I beleive they should last longer. A&E are cheaper to buy. Either one will do a good job for what they are intended for.

RE: living in designer 35RLTS

Our bedroom area gets too warm because the heat rises in the 5thW. But the furnace puts out more heat into the living area than the bedroom. Seems like yours might be hooked up wrong?
We supplement our furnace with 1 or 2 small space heaters during the day. Furnace only runs on the coldest of days or during the night when only 1 space heater is on very low.
Propane, 1- 40 gal tank is filled every 7-10 days.
I think hitchup ment that he used 1- 40 lb. tank every 7-10 days. He has a very well insulated trailer and most of the Suite's have double pane windows.

RE: They don't make 'em like they used to...

They were electric on my 56 Chev hardtop, but my 55 Chev Cameo pickup had the vacuum wiper system, boy I sure don't miss them, very dangerous

RE: Air bags

I just put them on my 2007 2500 Dodge Mega Cab. A buddy of mine helped me and showed me an awsome place to put the valves. They are actually concealed within the license plate mounting holes. Each valve is in the top two holes for the license plate. From a short distance, you cannot see the valves at all. Very easy. Drill out the license plate frame and license plate holes to the diameter of the valve. Insert the valve through the rear of the bumper area behind the plate. Nice csmetic way to instal the valves.
Yep.....this is what I did and it does work good!!
Same here.
Me too

RE: 5t Wheel Models

I have only had my Mobile Suites for a few months, but I was really impressed with how warm it stayed inside with 10 degrees outside and the furnace was not constantly cycleing off and on like my last fiver.

RE: Bedroom Mirror & Traveling

I have traveled with it in both positions and it stays put. I mostly leave it in the open position.
